Soli Deo Recipe


1 cup olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

1 medium white onion, chopped

1 medium tomato, diced

1 cup red wine

1 cup water

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms


Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute onions in oil, and cook until translucent. Stir in tomato, red wine, water, brown sugar, oregano, basil, and mushrooms. Continue cooking over medium heat until mixture has thickened.
