1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until smooth and well-blended. Stir in butter, then sugar, remaining 1 1/2 cup of butter, and vanilla extract. Drop mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Let cool 15 minutes before serving. Cool completely before serving with ice cream.
