Almond Butter Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup butter, softened

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 cup milk chocolate syrup

1 tablespoon almond extract

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in the butter, vanilla, chocolate syrup and evaporated milk. Beat for about 2 minutes, stirring just until blended. Stir in the milk chocolate syrup and almond extract. Spread evenly into lined pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until tops of the biscuits are golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Cool completely. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting. Loosely roll the chilled balls. Cut into 1/2 inch strips.
