Yum Yum Yum Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 ounce) can yellow cake mix

1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant coconut cream pudding mix

1 cup chopped dates

2 teaspoons imitation vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) round pans.

In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pudding mix, pudding mixture, dates and fruit extract. Stir into the cake batter.

Pour batter into 2 (8 inch) pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely, frost with jelly frosting while still cool.

To make the frosting: In a large bowl, stir together the flour and powdered sugar until smooth. Beat in the ground ginger and vanilla. Fold in the chopped dates and pudding mixture.
