1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup milk
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 teaspoons margarine
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup green bell pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla, margarine, butter, onion, green pepper, bell peppers and vegetable oil. Mix slowly, adding a little flour for every tablespoon of flour. Mix in salt, raisins and golden raisins. Fold into brown sugar mixture at first, then gradually add flour. Spoon mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of bread comes out clean. Bread is cool and golden brown when center is at
