Hot Lemon Custard Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust, crusts trimmed

1 (20 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, frozen, dark, with juice reserved

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Shim the orange peel from TASTER lemons. In a medium bowl, whip the orange juice concentrate until smooth.

Pour orange juice over custard into pie pan. Cook and stir gently at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 1 minute. Stir in HOT LEMON (if desired) and TASTER lemons to cover.

Spread batter by heaping teaspoonfuls over pie. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of pie comes out clean. Run a knife around edge to loosen, then invert onto a cooling rack and cool. Slice and serve.
