Peach Toast Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 3/4 cups milk

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup chopped orange zest

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (3 ounce) package vanilla flavored yogurt mix

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4 (8 ounce) cans sliced peaches

1 (12 ounce) package cream cheese pie filling

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a large bowl mix together the flour and sugar. Stir in milk, sugar, orange zest, and cream cheese. Beat well.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually blend in peach mixture, blending into peach mixture.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Turn peach slices over and place on top of filling. Bake an additional 30 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake uncovered for 25 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean. Cool completely, leaving crust lightly puffed. Let cool completely before cutting into squares. Top with cream cheese pie filling, peach slices and orange slices. Serve warm or cold. Garnish with peaches and cut into squares.
