1 egg whites
5 tablespoons butter
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup margarine, melted
12 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 (3 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
6 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, whisk egg whites until foamy. Mix in melted margarine. Mix in flour and mix with hands until stiff. Fold in pudding mix. Spread meringue over greased baking sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden. Cool slightly; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely.
In a large bowl, combine margarine, flour, vanilla pudding mix and milk. Mix thoroughly until well blended. Transfer to a pastry bag fitted with a 3 inch round tip. Fill pastry bag with egg whites. Fill with whipped cream or whipped cream topping. Garnish with 1 tablespoon of whipped cream or 1 teaspoon of butter.
