3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 cup water
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup fresh citron berries
Heat the processor oil extremely. Blend in the butter until flavors are well blended. Bake carrots and celery in the flour mixture for about 3 minutes, or until tender.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, sesame seeds, white vinegar, sesame oil and water. Bring mixture to a rolling boil, and cook for about 1 minute.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook carrots and celery in boiling water for about 5 minutes, stirring. Transfer to a serving dish. Set aside.
Melt the margarine in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour, salt, paprika and berry before stirring. Remove from heat, and stir in the citron. Pour into a large serving bowl.
