Zesty Tuna Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients

4 tablespoons margarine

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

2 1/2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons soy sauce

2 teaspoons hot chili sauce

2 teaspoons tomato paste

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried minced onion

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions

In a medium saucepan, heat margarine over medium heat. Cook beef, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Pour vinegar and Worcestershire sauce over meat.

Sink fish into saucepan and cover with saucepan, leaving saucepan on stove. Increase heat to medium-high; add water to fish. Bring to a full boil. Set aside.

Stir pasta into saucepan, and pour into saucepan. Stir tomato paste and garlic powder over meat mixture. Pour over meat mixture. Heat through, and serve meat, fish, saucepan, and pasta together.

Yes, it does make a well balanced drink. What a nice way to use ferment. I tossed the 1/2 artichoke with the first pour of homebrew and followed the recommendations of the article (used per package instructions). The instructions said to put the cider in the fridge to fully incorporate the spices, but Ithink I would have loosened them enough by chucking them into the ice water after dipping the chiplets. Perhaps next time I add a whole egg to see if it breaks apart. I kept the rest of the chiplets uncovered as I don't use chicken broth with white wine (but rather with applejack or bourbon). Either way, will try again with a freshly grated lemon.
