1 l | onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
1 medium block onion
8 green onions, thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cream cheese, onion, garlic and onion. Spread 5 tablespoons cream cheese mixture into mushroom mixture (yields about 1 cup).
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat; stir in flour while stirring until smooth. Add 1/2 cup chopped celery, 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chopped green onions. Season with 1/2 cup of the desired amount of salt and 1/2 cup water. Simmer, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve hot.
