1 1/4 cups potatoes, finely diced
2 teaspoons dried sage, or to taste
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup turkey water
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but firm, about 15 minutes. Drain. Thin the potatoes with half the potatoes and water.
In a large mixing bowl, combine potatoes, sage, onion flakes, seasoning salt, pepper, water, sugar, salt, and potatoes. Stir together and refrigerate for two hours or quicker, up to 1 pre-cooked day.
