1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
In a medium bowl, mix the onion, olive oil, Italian-style seasoning, oregano, chili powder, basil, rosemary, sage and garlic powder. Shape mixture into 1 pound patties.
Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Fry burger in skillet until browned; drain.
Mix your favorite taco sauce into patties to form patties.
Place burgers on a plate. Coat with taco sauce. Top patties with lettuce and serve hot.
