1 cup margarine
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon dried minced red chile peppers
1 small onion, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup spaghetti sauce
1 medium tomato, diced
2 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
1 medium yellow pepper, diced
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 potato, peeled and cubed
Melt margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add chili sauce, water, cornstarch and peppers. Mix well, reduce heat to low and add shiitake mushrooms. Mix well and cover. Bring to a slow simmer. Simmer thirty minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are softened and mixture is thickened. Flip heat off heat.
In a large pot, combine spaghetti sauce, tomato, mushrooms, bell pepper, red bell pepper, yellow pepper, sausage, tomatoes, bell pepper, mushrooms and bell pepper. Mix well and heat gently.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, pumpkin, sausage and tomato sauce. Mix well. Return pot to a boil. Cover and cook an additional 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour sauce over pasta mixture. Heat through and serve hot.
