2 cups butter, softened
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, white sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Mix in the flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice and chocolate chips. Blend into the creamed mixture until well blended. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
