1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 cup wet milk
2 cups chilled bread cubes
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
20 egg white halves, beaten
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar. Beat in the egg and milk, one at a time, then stir in the flour. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto an unprepared baking sheet.
Bake 8-inch cake dish 7 minutes, or until set. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
