1 cup butter
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 (8 ounce) package kielbasa sausage (with pork)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium tomato, diced
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in flour and sugar. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the flour is thoroughly combined with cold water disappears. Place sausage in the skillet.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, to melt margarine. Stir over medium heat, then stir in sugar. Bring to a simmer.
Lightly oil a large skillet.
Spread batter on skillet. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups kielbasa; spoon layer of sausage over bottom of skillet. Repeat layering with tomato, spinach, mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 2/3 minutes or until sauce thickens. Serve warm, or chill in refrigerator.
Really easy and easy to make. Everyone in my family loved it, but particularly my husband. Hehe
