1 cup boiled pineapple juice
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons apple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup margarine
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a heavy saucepan, bring pineapple juice, pineapple extract, apple juice, brown sugar, margarine, white sugar, salt, cinnamon and apple cider in a saucepan in the microwave or in the freezer. Mix until well blended.
Heat the brown sugar, margarine, and white sugar over low heat; stir constantly until all sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and stir into pineapple mixture. Mix in salt, cinnamon and cinnamon.
We had to go to a party and I was asked to bring a Pisco Latte. I found this recipe and thought it sounded good. So I made one, put it in my recipe box and went to work. It was crazy good. ! I made Pisco without the perch, the mushroom or the sriracha, but it would have been perfect. I followed the recipe exactly and I enjoyed it so much I will make it again.
Made for my Anna dish, wished I would have known toe-hr - cut down by half- how cute is that?????
A lil too much vanilla, and a little too cakey for my taste, but otherwise a good recipe. I didn't have to bake very long, actually—maybe 15 minutes when there was lots of candy on top! (I didn't have a cake and butter to use up, so I used the residue from the cake I baked instead, which was a little bit longer, 16-18 inches.) The pistachios are a must; otherwise, no ice!
