2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup white sugar for garnish
2 jellies cherries, cut into wedges; set aside
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons milk
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, sugar, vinegar, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes. Stir in hot milk and mix until hot.
