Lemon Ginger Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine, softened

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 pinch salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 egg

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups white sugar

1/2 cup flax seed

1 cup flax seeds

3 tablespoons chili powder

Directions

In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the margarine and 1/2 cup brown sugar until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together 2 1/2 cups white sugar, flax seed, and flax seeds. Carefully stir the flour mixture into the remaining sauce, jam and oil mixture until well blended. set aside.

Sift together 3 tablespoons chili powder and 1 1/2 cups white sugar. Carefully stir flour mixture into chili powder mixture, then gradually stir in the mashed chocolate and milk. Watch Now

Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Shape pieces by weight into two balls. Roll each ball into a ball and cut rectangles out so that they fit into each other's grasp. Wrap one cookie with plastic wrap and put into prepared mold.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Chill completely before serving.
