3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups chopped pecans
8 flour tortillas
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Beat brown sugar and milk in small bowl until stiff. Stir in vegetable oil, pecans and flour tortillas. Spread evenly over baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Reduce temperature from 350 to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm.
