1 cup butter
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (12 ounce) can sweetened chocolate syrup
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups milk
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the brown sugar, eggs, and pecans; mix with an electric mixer. Fold in the chocolate syrup.
Roll out the cake to fit the pans. Pour the batter into the pans using a 9 inch round pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
