1 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons finely shredded Swiss cheese
2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
2 eggs, beaten
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon American spice mix
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 (16 ounce) can frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 slice bacon
Preheat the broiler.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, salt, Swiss, cheese, Parmesan cheese, tomato paste, eggs, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, oregano, basil, oregano, seasoning and mixed vegetables. Mix in the bacon. Spread the mixture over the slices of bacon, securing with a fork. Place toast onto two broiler pan.
Broil 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip and broil another 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
