2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1/2 cup maraschino cherries
In a medium saucepan, heat brown sugar over medium heat. Stirring constantly, coat the bottom of a 1 quart serving bowl with brown sugar. When brown sugar is browned, remove from heat and stir in the preserves and maraschino cherries. Pour mixture into prepared cake mold. Chill in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bake fudge in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool for several minutes. Refrigerate fudge while you make the chocolate frosting. Frost fudge before cutting into squares.
