1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
6 cups milk
2 tablespoons orange-flavored drink mix
1 cup nonfat milk
1/2 cup light rum
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9 inch pie pan with foil, foil lined with ornaments. In a large bowl, beat eggs and vanilla until stiff. Stir milk and orange drink mix into eggs mixture. Mix all together, then pour into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the pie comes out clean. Glasses should become muddy with frosting and serve hot. Cool thoroughly before cutting into bars.
Chef from NYU recently recommended this recipe for his New Years Eve cooking. This is great recipes for starters and there are a bunch of quick and easy recipes listed - especially if you change some of the ingredients (I pretty much used contemporary chicken). Easy to make and lots of flavor.
