1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk or water
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg

2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup milk
1 bowl frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour, pecans, baking powder, salt and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the loaf comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before serving.
