3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 teaspoon white sugar
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
Place butter, sugar, vinegar and salt into a large, heavy skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted. Remove from heat and stir in milk and cheese; continue stirring until cheese is melted. Serve over cooked ham in horseshoe bowl.
