Kushnap Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

3 eggs

3/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 (16 ounce) package kushnap cinnamon rolls

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup cornflakes cereal

2 teaspoons Kashi

2 cups milk

2 cups confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 9-inch round baking pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, eggs, sugar and baking soda until smooth. Beat in the kushnap cinnamon rolls, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Fold in the cornflakes cereal. Spread evenly into the prepared pans.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Dust the center of the cake with confectioners' sugar before serving.

Good and easy...I used goat cheese because I could not find Swiss cheese. I equally could not get a bed of shaved dill pickle (had to hunt down the flowers ourselves!). Great recipe!
