1 small onion, sliced
1 tomato, seeded and chopped
1 tablespoon Italian-style seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onion, tomato, Italian-style seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; add lettuce, tomato, Italian-style seasoning, parsley salt, pepper and olive oil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes, until lettuce is liquidy. Stir in tortellini.
