3/4 cup olive oil

Ingredients

1 small onion, sliced

1 tomato, seeded and chopped

1 tablespoon Italian-style seasoning

1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley

salt to taste

ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onion, tomato, Italian-style seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; add lettuce, tomato, Italian-style seasoning, parsley salt, pepper and olive oil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes, until lettuce is liquidy. Stir in tortellini.

I thought this was pretty good, but I don't like milk so I substituted white miso paste instead. As others have said, this is really good. My boyfriend loves it too! It's not spaghetti - so! One thing a leftovers for lunch!
