1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 egg, lightly beaten
6 tablespoons butter, chilled
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon chocolate syrup
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and egg. Beat on low speed until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Spread mixture onto pie crusts.
Bake about 1 hour in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Cool in refrigerator before serving.
In a small saucepan, mix together milk, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, egg, pumpkin pie spice syrup, chopped pecans and chocolate syrup. Mix well and return to a medium heat. Pour mixture into crusts, top with whipped cream or margarine and sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice syrup.
I don't eat meat, so I have no instinct for cooking it. I made this recipe assuming I wouldn't be able to find it, and it was allright. I made substitutions with ingredients I had in my pantry, but it was still pretty thin. I will make this again and again!
