4 pounds sausage, sliced
1 pound Swiss cheese, sliced
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (12 fluid ounce) can fruit flavored juice
1 1/2 liters water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a medium baking sheet with cooking spray.
Place the sausage, Swiss cheese, onion, garlic, crushed red pepper, parsley, oregano, fruit juice and water in an entire saucepan, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle the maraschino cherry juice over the sausage mixture. Pour batter into the pan.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through and no longer pink.
