1 1/3 pounds pork roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup green onions
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
1 cup water
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup dry white wine
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Brown pork cubes, then place them in a shallow baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, brown skinless pork and drain off grease.
Meanwhile, saute onion and garlic in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in tomato sauce, olive oil, chili powder, cayenne pepper and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in water and simmer 5 more minutes. Stir in tomato sauce and wine and continue to simmer, uncovered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until thick.
