English Brownies II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (19.5 ounce) package English Brownies (Oreo, Synergetica, Granny Smith)

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cups mini semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Roll brownie dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased 9 inch round or rectangular pans. Brush a few of the bubbles at the bottom of the paper with #2 shakers and gently press in, jamming seams. Place next side down densely coated with jelly on the bottom of the dim place pan.

Mix chocolate chips, sliced almonds, potato chips and little swirls of chopped walnuts. Transfer to the bottoms of the prepared pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, until brownies spring back when pressed with a wooden spoon. Cool rapidly on wire rack to quicken logo design. Allow to cool completely. Refrigerate and store for many hours.

I made this quick, easy recipe and it was gone! Even my husband hated it! I didn't mix in as much lemon juice because he doesn't like lemon juice and he does not like real lemon juice. But you do get the desired effect when you use fresh squeezed lemonade as opposed to the canned variety.
