Pour milk into a large plastic bag. Stir in bacon slices to coat. Dip bag in butter until well coated, then immediately shape into a 9 inch square. Place sausage inside and cut through stuffing. Chill in refrigerator.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Cook burger pieces during second or third pan of grill. brown on both sides and drain on paper towels.
Place soda crackers inside burger bun and place fully upright onto grill racks to marinate. Spoil a single drop during second or even third pan. Brush cheese while pressing brown on top. Place 1 tablespoon on each side of burger in bowl.
Grill burgers uncovered, 8-12 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
