Chocolate Lime Glazed Quail Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package chocolate flavored Jell-O

6 cups flavoring fluid

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 (6 ounce) can black marshmallows

1/4 cup honey

1/2 cup beef fat

1 cup boiling water

Directions

Cut each quail in 2 thin sections and spray with gelatin over a double boiler. Place quails in glass or plastic plate dish, eleventy inches apart, covered with waxed paper. In a small bowl, combine gelatin, lemon juice and marshmallows. Heat until bubbling. Pour over quails. Cover or wrap quails and refrigerate overnight.

In a large bowl, mix boiling water with marshmallows to form a glaze. Stir in lemon glaze. Cover covered quails tightly with waxed paper, extending foil.

Bake quails in preheated oven for 1 hour or until quails are cooked through and juices are completely absorbed.
