2 cups cooked chicken breast meat
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
6 green onions, thinly sliced
2 cups canned tomato sauce
1/2 cup orange juice
1 (6 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Place shredded beef in a small bowl. Mix browned onions, mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes with 3 tablespoons of the chicken broth and pour over cooker. Mix remaining broth with the orange juice and corn syrup. Transfer to a 3 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with sugar and baking soda.
Place remaining green onions and mushrooms over meat in casserole dish. Pour orange juice, corn syrup and remaining broth over meat.
Bake in preheated oven temperature for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
