1 cup dry Italian-style sausage
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup dry onion soup mix
In a large saucepan over medium heat, over, but not boiling, low heat, cook sausage until evenly brown. Remove from heat and set aside. In a blender or food processor, blend the wine and broth. Add bread crumbs, onion soup mix and simmer until the desired consistency is reached. Remove from heat and set aside for later.
