1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (16 ounce) can sliced dates
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 cup kirsch
4 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup eggs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, vanilla and dates. Mix in margarine, vinegar, kirsch and eggs. Mix in the margarine mixture with the flour and mix well. Fold in pecans and spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool on baking sheet and allow to cool completely.
