Christmas Jazz Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan, beat the butter, cream cheese, flour, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Stir in 2 cups chilled whipped topping. Transfer mixture to a large mixing bowl and spread on the bottom of 9 inch jelly-roll pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 half hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan on wire rack for 5 minutes and press firm on all sides. Cool completely before cutting into squares. Store candy in refrigerator.
