1 cup pickle relish
1 onion, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tomatoes, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons dried lemon zest
1 small pickle, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Mix relish, onion, cook, cabbage, olive oil, and pepper in small bowl. Mix until thoroughly coated. Reposition pepper mixtures in large bowl.
Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, oregano, lemon juice, parsley, lemon zest, garlic powder, oregano, lemon juice, parsley, pepper, and Italian seasoning; mix at slow simmer. Add olive oil, and heat, stirring, until spreadable on all sides. Gradually stir in hot olive oil. Pour into dish; shape.
Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 40 minutes; brush lightly with egg whites and serve warm.
