Bacon Jarlsberg Recipe

Ingredients

Cheddar Cheese

1 pound bacon, diced

1 1/2 tablespoons's Worcestershire sauce

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

4 eggs, beaten

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 (8 ounce) cans bacon bits

1 cup minced onions

4 slices smoked bacon, sliced

Directions

Soak the ground beef in heavy cream until completely dissolved; drain.

Place bacon, rings and cheese in a large, deep skillet. Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Remove bacon from skillet, brush butter into skillet, and cook for about 1 minute. Remove bacon, discard ring with tongs and 3 cups of cheese.

Crush the bacon bits into the ground beef and drain off grease. Heat remaining grease in heavy pot to a simmer. Fry bacon bits in oil until golden brown. Add onion and bacon to pan and cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Remove bacon, bacon bits and bacon from pan, place in individual serving dishes.

Pour the heavy cream into a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until sauce is almost thickened and sauce is thickened. Stirring often, cook over medium heat until creamy and thickened. Sprinkle cream cheese over meat mixture, stir until cheese melts. Serve warm.
