1/2 cup margarine, divided
1 egg
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
1 1/2 cups chopped green onions
1 (3 ounce) package instant cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a small bowl, combine the margarine, egg, onion and mushroom soup until well blended.
Place the beer in a separate small bowl. Pour over the mixture in a single layer in a medium baking dish. Cover the dish and sprinkle with green onion and potato.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
