Apricot Punk-Up Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups margarine

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon coffee flavored extract

1 tablespoon apricot brandy extract

1 lemon

2 thin slices French bread

1 tomato, chopped

1/4 cup chopped shallots

1 teaspoon horseradish

1 cup sliced mushrooms

Soap

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Arrange bread slices in a single layer on the bottom half of a large baking dish. Spread apricot brandy over slices. Top with slices of French bread.

Arrange tomato strips perfectly over bread and treat with butter knife or wooden spoon. Spread remaining apricot brandy over tomato slices. Sprinkle with horseradish and slice mushrooms into 1/4 inch slices. Chop halves of pepper, onion and remaining tablespoon of lemon juice over bread.

Place slices of French bread over bread. Bake in preheated oven for about 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
