1 (18.25 ounce) package Swedish coffee cake mix
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant butter or margarine flavored Jell-O mix
1 cup milk
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant cream cheese
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant cream cheese flavored Jell-O mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 3/4 cups vegetable oil
Prepare and bake cake according to package directions; bake without preservatives or shortening, oiling and bagging with a knife. Cool cake completely before removing from pan.
In a medium bowl, mix coffee cake mix, cream cheese, cream cheese flavored gelatin, eggs, oil and butter. Pour into a 2 quart mold and chill overnight.
While cake is chilling, slice each cookie slice into 2 circles. Place onto cake and chill overnight. Roll out cookies. Remove strips of cheese.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Store cake in plastic tubes or plastic loaf pans in plastic container. Refrigerate for 6 hours before serving.
