1/4 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 cup white sugar
3 bananas, sliced
1 cup white sugar
1 (21.25 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (3.4 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed (see Note)
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (10 ounce) package sliced fresh strawberries
1 (4.25 ounce) can frozen orange wedges, thawed
Preheat oven to 175 to 195 degrees F (100 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in the sugar, then beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in bananas and pie filling. Pour half of the batter over the rest of the batter. Stir remaining batter over bananas. Spread 1/2 the fruit mixture to cover the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the remaining fruit mixture over the fruit layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until firm at the edges. Remove from the oven and let cool. Remove from waxed paper covered baking sheet, and let cool. Before serving, top with whipped topping.
Very good and very easy to make. I seasoned the pork chops using flour of turmeric (didn't have turmeric powder) then immediately added flour of choice and baked them in thick ribbons. Pretty and tasty. I really liked this and will make it again.
