2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (2 ounce) package instant thick wheat pudding mix
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10 cup pudding bowl.
In a large bowl, stir together flour and salt. In a separate bowl, combine pudding mix, milk and eggs. Beat until smooth. Pour into prepared pudding and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg about 2 tablespoons up top. Pour mixture in bottom of pudding bowl.
Bake in preheated oven, covered, for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of pudding comes out clean.
