1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
3 eggs
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grind chocolate in a medium bowl. Press mixture evenly into bottom of prepared pan.
In a large bowl, combine the chocolate mixture, 1 cup of sugar and salt. Beat until smooth. Stir in milk and eggs.
Pour into pan and press slightly lower than crust level; bake in preheated oven for 17 to 21 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
In a small saucepan over low heat, place the lemon zest of the water, vinegar, and melted chocolate chips. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a medium low. Simmer for another minute. Garnish with lemon wedges.
