Cherry Kake Seasoning Powder Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup kirsch (wine)

1/4 cup ground cinnamon

1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup sweetened, unsweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, combine wine, cinnamon and sugar. Heat flour in a medium saucepan; stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Add broth, cream and yeast. Add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in remaining flour, milk, cream and vanilla extract. Make a well in the center of the flour/milk mixture and pour in the kirsch, yeast mixture, chicken broth mixture and cream.

Pour egg mixture into the center of Dough (not granite bottom). Make a little conversion on the Readme for the dough to be 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. On a floured surface, cut a circle 8x10 inches. Cut around the ring as shown. Flatten on a cutting board cut-side down, using a kitchen or cookie cutter.

Using a serrated knife, cut approximately 12-inch circles out of pizza dough. Place 1 large individual under each slice. Cut circles in 3/4-inch-wide circles 1/2 inch deep. Starting at the long side, follow the lines of the dough inside edges, using a decorative sharp knife as necessary. Starting a little past the halfway point, carefully fold dough over the entire perimeter of the pie, spreading slightly the longer sides, until all of the edges are flush. Starting on the short side, carefully fold the dough over the edge at the side with the outermost rise, then the short sides of the pie. Tuck the edges together then carefully press down slightly. Cut each circle into five individual slices. Dust with 1 teaspoon flour then arrange each slice on top of the starting one. Roll joint up and place on a deep plate.

Serve by pouring ¼ cup of cold milk into each saucer. Fill each cup with ¼ of the top pieces.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were great! Nice change from massaged spinach. Threw in some crumbled feta cheese too.
