1 pound ground beef
3 eggs
3 tomatoes, diced
1 (12 ounce) jar fresh bread mix
1 (10 ounce) package uncooked white rice
1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup white wine
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup dried bread crumbs
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (225 degrees C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, ground tomatoes, bread mix, rice, tomatoes and milk. Mix well and pour into prepared baking sheet.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly browned.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Meanwhile, bring lard to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in flour, sugar, 1 cup of milk and salt. Stir until mixture includes a firm, sticky dough. Cut into squares or logs as desired.
