1/4 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons lard
1/2 cup water
1 cup frozen sliced mushrooms, thawed and drained
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry white wine, brown sugar, lard and water. Remove 1 cup of the liquid, reserve 2 tablespoons of the remaining liquid and whisk in the reserved liquid, spinach, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir well, cover and refrigerate.
